The Managers have had decades of experience in funding small-cap companies, and Bridges 1, LLC is a natural extension of the Managers' expertise in this arena.  The Managers' most-recent limited partnership (Seaside 88, LP) , which made its first investment in late 2008, engaged in 86 private placements for 50 publicly traded companies (PIPEs).  These companies were in the healthcare, energy, metals & mining, and other industries.  The same management team earlier ran Seaside Partners, LP (1999-2006), which also engaged in dozens of private placements for smaller, publicly traded companies.



William J. Ritger




Asset management experience.  Mr. Ritger and affiliated entities have invested in more than 200 PIPE transactions.




More than 25 years of professional equity research experience.  During the years 1992-08, Mr. Ritger was President of The Research Works, Inc., an equity research boutique that he founded.  Mr. Ritger was earlier a senior research analyst in the emerging growth sector at Dillon Read & Co., Inc.; Needham and Company, LLC; and Dean Witter Reynolds, Inc.  He had research experience earlier in his career at Kidder Peabody & Co., Inc.; Argus Research Corporation; and Standard & Poor’s Corporation.

Denis M. O'Donnell, M.D.




Asset management experience.  Dr. O'Donnell and affiliated entities have invested in more than 100 PIPE transactions.




More than 20 years experience in life science corporate management.  He is the former founding president and executive chairman of Novavax, Inc., and the former CEO of Molecular Diagnostics, Inc.  He is currently a director for one publicly traded company and the former director of four others.  He has held various board of director committee posts, for example as executive chairman and chair of the audit, scientific, and compensation committees, and he also has extensive public company corporate finance experience.




Medical and clinical experience.  This includes being an investigator on more than 400 U.S. FDA human clinical studies, a fellow at The American College of Clinical Pharmacology, and an author of numerous publications concerning pharmaceutical development and clinical trial design and management.
