Banknotes from Argentina

Argentina has some particularly attractive banknotes, which are both complex in their designs and striking in their vignettes and colors. An unusual feature of many of the Argentina banknotes is that the back side also features nice vignettes. According to the PMG population report, many of the surviving examples of the highest graded early notes are specimens, proofs, and remainders. Also, many of the early notes are quite rare, with only a single example or two showing up in the population report.
